R 17: 30 sc (30)
R 18: (3 sc, dec.) x 6 (24)
Stuff about four-fifths of your frog so far.
Do not fasten off. At this point, you will be creating the eye “humps.” To begin, count 5 stitches backward from your current stitch (the last stitch of round 18 that you created most recently.) Place a stitch marker in stitch number 1. Next, count 7 stitches starting with the next stitch (the one that comes immediately after your final stitch in round 18 that you created most recently.) Place a stitch marker in the 7th stitch.

Squeeze the top of your frog so that the stitches that contain stitch markers are lined up. This should be the half-way point between each eye “hump.” If you need to adjust your stitch markers in order to correctly be at the half-way point, go ahead and do so. Either way, you will have 12 stitches that make up round 19. (You can remove your stitch markers after crocheting in each of them.) You will be crocheting in each stitch that contains a stitch marker in round 19. (You can remove your stitch markers after crocheting in each of them.) Insert your hook back into your yarn. The very next stitch will be the first stitch in round 19.

R 19-20 (2 rounds): 12 sc (12)
Create a small “v” shaped mouth on the half-way point, 2 stitches wide, on round 18. Insert a safety eye between rounds 18 and 19 that is 2-3 stitches away from the closet corner of the mouth. Embroider blush with pink yarn about 3 stitches wide between rounds 15 and 16
Stuff the eye so far and continue to stuff as you go.
R 21: (sc, dec.) x 4 (8)
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing.
Weave the tail along the front loops of round 21. (I wove it through each of the 8 front loops around, and then continued to weave it through the first two loops again to more fully close the hole.) Pull tightly and sew the eye hump closed, hiding your yarn tail by weaving it inside the eye hump.

Next, re-attach your yarn to your hook, leaving a several inch long starting tail (that you will later use to sew the gap in between the two eye humps.
Starting with the furthest right stitch in the front of the frog, complete rounds 19-21 again to make the second eye hump, including inserting the second eye, embroidering the blush, and sewing the eye hump close in the same manner as you did the first one.

After completing the second eye hump, this is a good time to use your finger or bottom of the hook to insert any more stuffing into each eye if it’s needed. Lastly, sew the middle section between the eye humps closed. I recommend doing so from front to back several times (as opposed to side-to-side) which helps flatten the face a little.
Arm (Make 2)
Use green yarn.
R 1: ch 2, complete 4 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. (4)
R 2: (sc, inc.) x 2 (6)
R 3: ch 1 and crochet arm closed with 3 sc. (3)
F.o. and leave a long tail for sewing. Sew each arm (sticking straight out and vertically on the body) onto rounds 11-13 of the front of the body and the width of about 6 stitches apart.

Heart
Use red yarn.
R 1: ch 2, and complete 4 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook. (4)
R 2: (sc, inc.) x 2 (6)
Place a stitch marker into the first stitch of round 2 you created. F.o. and leave a long tail ( a few inches long) for later sewing the gap between your two pieces. This will be Piece 1. Place this piece aside and create your second piece by following rounds 1 and 2 again, and place another stitch marker into the first stitch of you created of round 2. Do not f.o. your second piece (Piece 2). Instead, continue onto round 3.
R 3: Keep your hook in the stitch you just created to end round 2 (on Piece 2), and additionally place your hook into the marked stitch on Piece 1. (You can remove your stitch marker after doing so, if you’d like.) This will be the first stitch you will complete of round 3. After completing 6 stitches around Piece 1, insert your hook into the marked stitch on Piece 2. (12)

Remove the stitch markers if you haven’t already, and use the long yarn tail to sew the top of the heart closed.
Stuff the tips of the heart (if necessary beyond placing your yarn tails inside) and continue to stuff as you go.
R 4: (2 sc., dec.) x 3 (9)
R 5: (sc, dec.) x 3 (6)
R 6: dec. x 3
F.o. and leave a long tail. Use the tail to sew the sides of the heart cradled onto each arm.
The end!
